EY ALTER YOUNG LEARNERS – for pupils in years 10 to 15

EY ALTER YOUNG LEARNERS

What type of learner are you? This programme will enable you to get to know your personal strengths – your skills for developing solutions now and in the future. Innovation isn’t that hard.

What does it include?
You go to school and you learn – sometimes easily and sometimes with more effort? But one thing is certain, you almost always learn. Your brain is constantly processing information. In school and outside of school. We gain experience, we learn incidentally, we recognise patterns, we connect experiences, we imitate. At EY ALTER, you will learn a whole lot about yourself, quite incidentally. What are your strengths, what can you train, and what is the best way for you to learn?

Who is it for?
Pupils in years 10 to 15 accompanied by their teachers are welcome. Visiting EY ALTER is fun and encouraging. Because we all have our own potential – and at EY ALTER, we can discover and apply it in a whole new way.

What’s it about?
Learning is the key to success, change, and innovation. The exhibition introduces the mechanisms of learning. Short games demonstrate how our brains work. Short-term and long-term memory – how do we store our experiences? And how does learning change with age? Are we capable of everything now and nothing later? When it comes to learning, it helps to know “how”. What type of learner are you? The good news is: everybody has their strengths – and if you want, you can expand them. Training is the magic word. Put your talent to the test at EY ALTER! And share your experiences with others when you’re finished. That way, we can learn together.

Who’s behind it?
The programme was developed in a collaboration between the Human Resources department at Mercedes-Benz and the Science Center Universum® Bremen.
